Today, I met the best cappella group in the world ——Club for Five. Club for Five is an innovative Finnish contemporary a cappella group. which is specialized in open-minded approach to singing and amazing instrument-like use of the human voice.They had a Press Conference in the Guangzhou Second Children’s Palace. Not only our pupil reporters but also a lot of specialized reporters went there.

At the very beginning, we waited them for a long time. When they arrived, we pupil reporters went quickly to interview them. They were really friendly and funny. One of the girls called Susan said, ‘I think China is a big country. Very big! Huge!’  Of course, China is the third biggest country in the world. Then, I told them: “Baiyun Mountain is the most beautiful mountain in Guangzhou. There is a big birdcage there. People can go inside the birdcage to feed birds and the birds can say something like ‘Ni hao!’ , ‘Hello!’ and ‘Xiexie’.” They looked very interested in that.

In the end, they sang songs for us. Their songs are really amazing!

It is the first time for them to sing in China. They are very excited about the concert on this Friday evening in Sun-Yanxian Memorial Hall. So do I! I wish that the concert would be held successfully.
